Re: 1980 Honda CB650C Exhaust
Thank you for the quick reply Volker! I do have a stock airbox. My mains are up to 95 and slow jets to 40. I have read here recently about changing/shimming needle jets so that was my next test. Then I found the stock exhaust for sale and thought it might help. I have never paid attention to the air...

1980 Honda CB650C Exhaust
Greetings Gang, I am trying to bring my 1980 CB650C back to stock. In that light, I have an opportunity to purchase a stock exhaust from a 1981 CB650. This is the 4 into 4 (2 on each side) exhaust. The question is then, would the stock '81 exhaust fit properly to the '80 Custom engine and frame? Are...

Re: Old Smokey is still smokin!
We installed aftermarket needles, and raised their position 1 notch (the bike would bog when you opened the throttle, and that drastically improved it. HI, I have a question for you based on the above statement. I have the same carbs (PD 50) and want to change needle positions as well, I just am un...

Re: Cam Chain Guide
So, no response from the gentleman at Vince and Hyde racing, using the above provided email address.
I was lucky enough to find a cam chain guide (with cam chain tensioner) on Ebay and quickly secured that. As soon as it arrives I'll be back in business.

Cam Chain Guide
Hey guys,
I recently discovered my cam chain guide is split in half! From side to side about half way down. I have been searching online for a new or used one but they appear to be a unicorn. Does anyone have a source for these?
Thanks, Brian

Re: Help - stripped cross head screw!
Hi, thank you for the reply.
Yes the screw is #18 in your diagram. As you know, releasing it releases the speedometer cable from the gear box which makes life easier when taking the tire off. As it is now I have a front tire with a "tail"!

Help - stripped cross head screw!
Hi Guys, First post...thanks for having me. Now down to business! The cross head screw retaining the speedometer at the gearbox on the front tire is stripped. I am trying to take the front wheel off to change the tire and have discovered the stripped screw. What do I do? is there an easy-ish fix to ...
