Hi ekos, where are you? I've ordered parts from cruzinimage before without any problems and I live in the UK. BTW, the...

Re: SEARCHING FOR DUAL DISC FRONT SPOKED WHEEL
Hi andycog, the spoked CB650 wheels were only single disc. One of my bikes originally had spoked wheels but I swapped them for reverse comstars from a Custom model as the chrome was totally shot.

Re: Rear shocks length?
Hi Jim, how's the seat coming along? My CB650Z is still buried at the back of my garage but I can measure some shocks from either a CB650A? (wire wheel, single disc front brake) which I think were the same length or I can measure some from a Nighthawk, which I would presume to be the same length, if...

Re: CB650SC is the speedo cable removable from the outer sheath
Hi JJ, the inner cable should come out, it may be held in by hardened grease or muck. Can you not use your new inner cable to push the old broken one out?

Re: Same seat 82 vs 80?
I would have to check the seat base on my CB650Z to confirm if it would fit but the bike is buried under a ton of stuff in the garage and has been ever since I bought it in the middle of a house move. Don't start digging after that for my sake! When I compare Texavinas picture of their 79-80 replac...

Re: Same seat 82 vs 80?
I only clicked on the first seat in the link and there appears to be provision for something other than a straight bolt on seat, I would have to check the seat base on my CB650Z to confirm if it would fit but the bike is buried under a ton of stuff in the garage and has been ever since I bought it i...

Re: 1979 carb kit
Hi, I'm in Derby, PD51A carbs sound right :D I also used the cheap carb kits from Thailand, they were cheap for a reason, only the carb top and float bowl gaskets were any good and that was after I used a hole punch on the top gaskets. The brass parts and float valve just didn't seem right and the p...

Re: Same seat 82 vs 80?
Hi Jim, I don't know anything about Texavina seats as I'm in the UK. Your model is the only SOHC CB650 with a hinged seat and a lock, they were produced from 1979-82 so if a seat has a hinge and a lock it should fit your bike.
