Re: 1981 CB650c Won't Start
1.Compression test should be done with the carbs held open (full throttle) or better off the bike altogether. 2.Bend the tabs on the floats to get them all sitting at the correct height. The fuel is flowing out of the over flow because the floats are not at the right height. Glad your making progres...

Re: My CB650
Small update: Took the cb650 for an MOT https://image.ibb.co/hB7kYy/IMG_0320.jpg Passed with one advisory - Non standard chimney.. On the way there it wouldn't rev pass 4,000 .. or go over 50mph .. So when arrived home I drilled the main jets to 120 or (1.2mm) .. Now its awesome. https://image.ibb.c...

Re: Center Stand
Thanks for the exhaust find, Its a shame its not closer to me ..
Yes I agree probably easier just to make a bracket for the center stand.
Back to the carb sync's vacume thing, does anyone know what size thread the sync pipe adapters have to be to fit into the pd type carbs?
Thanks

https://s20.postimg.org/46n88amil/solenoid.jpg What are these wires going to? Is it an inline fuse holder with a 30A fuse? If not, it should be. This is not the cause of your trouble (no matter what they go to), but it is something that will need tending eventually. It originally came with a 30A bl...
