Re: Spark..

Only had a little bit of time before work and had no idea what the pulse generator was (do now) thank you Google. But followed the wires down to the ci ignition box and it doesn't look too good from what I know. Could this be cause the problem? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180321/8ed8038755fe1...

Re: Spark..

Yeah, I have em all in the right spot have seen many post about people having them wrong so I've always been careful to not mix em up. I'll check out the pulse generator next!

Re: Spark..

Pulled em, switched em, and still no spark. Spark in one and four still. So imma guess it's the wrong wires. So confused maybe I read it on a different forum about a different bike.

Re: RE: Re: Dropping the exhaust?

seems to me there are some bolts that go up to the frame underneath. And it is all one part. All 4 pipes and 2 muffs. I remember it being a pain in the ass on the 84 i parted out but that was several years ago. Thanks, I've decided I'll just clean her up with them still attached. Just was confusing...

Re: RE: Re: Dropping the exhaust?

I can't think of a JIS screw that would be on your exhaust. Can you show a picture of this? Edit: Are you talking about #10 on this diagram? https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda/motorcycle/1982/cb650sc-a-nighthawk-650/muffler If so, that only holds on the heat shield. Am I understanding correctl...

Dropping the exhaust?

Trying to polish them all up before spring. Followed all the bolts including the ones on the spare Foot pegs that seem to have tension. But I think I found the last thing holding it on being a God damn jis screw. Does anyone know where to get a Japanese Phillips or have any advice on getting them ou...

If you have the top bar below the gauges that the headlight bolts mount to you would be my favorite.
