'79 cb650 parts
I've got some parts from a '79 cb650 that I won't be using if anyone out there is interested before I try to post them to eBay. Make me a reasonable offer, cover the shipping and I'll box them up and get them to you. The main parts that might be of interest are.... original chrome 2-1 exhausts. Some...

handlebars and triple clamp ??
So, trying to pull together the front end of my cb650 rebuild. The stock gauges and indicator lights are in the dust bin, I'm leaning towards replacing those with an Acewell digital speedo-tach, but before I can buy the cool flashy stuff I need to sort out my handlebars. First off apologies for my m...

So much info
This board has so much info buried into little tag line links and what-not. As a newbie I’m trying to find/read everything I can that pertains to the 79. Someone linked me to chinonthetank blog - awesome, thanks! Volker-P I followed the link on your post to a manual. It looks great but I can’t get p...

Frame size?
I’m on vacation and unable to measure it myself, but I’m sure someone here knows off-hand. What is the inner and/or outer diameter of the 79 650 frame?
And handlebar diameter?
Sitting poolside with drinks and ordering parts online! Thanks!

Re: Where can I get CORRECT caliper rebuild kit?
I just found one for my 79 on eBay by a group called Brake Crafters. I’d bet they have it. The order turnaround was super fast, like 3 days only and I’m in Alaska.

New member - new old bike - maybe new ??’s
hopefully not same old questions. My 79 CB650 is in pieces and getting ready to be put back together. This is my first rebuild, though I’ve kept some pretty needy bikes and outboard motors alive due to personal financial conditions :D So first... I didn’t find a gasket under the ignition cover plate...

Re: Parting Out: Honda CB650
Thanks for the help. I did email Tom and he was nice enough to email me right back. That same night I did find a caliper rebuild kit on eBay that has all the little rubber boots and seals and purchased that. Should have everything I need.
Thanks again!!
Thanks again!!

Re: Parting Out: Honda CB650
I’m looking for front brake caliper for a 79. Particularly the little rubber boots on the caliper bolts, but I’d take a whole assembly for down the road.
Thanks
