Honda CB650 and GDPR

It dawned on me today that because we have so many wonderful users from all over the globe hondacb650.com falls under GDPR. Here's the skinny: hondacb650.com doesn't sell your information, we do have some third party partners that use site data for global rankings. If at any time you would like all ...

Re: Forum changes

As some of you know, I haven't ridden in 5 years, and as such I do not participate in the forums very regularly. Yesterday was my last day at Palantir, and I don't have anything lined up just yet. Today, as luck would have it, I received a message from godaddy about domain renewal for the site. It i...

Keep us posted of your progress. The electrical system is the first thing I tackled on my bike.

What do you do in the winter?

Here in Washington D.C. it isn't quite riding weather. Are you in a cold part of the world? Are you itching to get on that bike? Tell us about your last ride OR tell us about one you are planning.

What do you do in your off months? (if you have an off season)

Site Maintenance

The last couple of weeks may have been a bit bumpy. My buddy at Amazon who is hosting our site now had to perform some maintenance and in the process things didn't go perfect for us. I'll take the blame on that one, we had to change some DNS settings and I failed to test the server prior to cut over...

Re: Parting out 1980 CB650 C

Gas tank has a dent in it.

Sissy bar, seat available

Cam shaft, I'm not there yet. Although if you can't get it anywhere else, I can tear it down. If you need to get in touch with me, please PM. I don't jump on the forum as often as I used to.

Re: Q about rotors and the alternator.

You may want to start with some penetrating oil. I had to use an impact wrench, as I had a heck of a time getting mine loose.

Re: Site problems?

No problem. I was reading today and as it turns out the previous version was broken and displayed the active topics even if it were set to be off. This version fixed that issue. I have activated it, we will see if that functionality returns with newly posted topics.

Re: Site problems?

The site problems you experienced weren't related to the attachment work. I had not gotten the time until yesterday to address it. I assume that there may have been some server maintenance on the machines the forum is being hosted on. Yesterday, I upgraded the forums, as they were a few revisions be...
