Speedometer cable
I have a question see if any one can help me .. Is the OEM speedometer cable considered a 12mm top nut cable? Any help is appreciated thx

Well turns out it is a bad coil.I will be ordering one ASAP.. I will post an update when i install them thx once again Volker_p

I will do the following procedures ,question to measure the pulsar gap can I use a regular metal feeler gauge or does it have to be a non magnetic feeler gauge?

Update: I swapped spark plug 3&4 still no go. Then I checked the spark on all 4 plugs spark plugs 2 and 3 have a stronger spark then 1 and 4 ,so I take it that I have one weak coil. Explains the puffy carbon build up on those plugs. Could that possibly be the reason that it bogs down? I cleaned ...

I'll swap out the plugs today and check for air leaks between the engine and the carbs.The choke flap and slider do open with the other carbs.
The circular diaphragms are on the side of each carb correct?

Yes I did swap spark plug cable 2 & 3 and with the carb filter off I put my palm on the back of the carb and there's no suction. Its like I'm running on three cylinders only.

Yes I check and adjusted the valves to specs.. Also did a compression test wet & Dry..

I need help for some reason carb #3 has no suction?So exhaust #3 does not heat up at all? Any help will be appreciated.. Thx

I re-adjusted my valves according to the service manual ,bike fires up great and sounds the way it should sound ,then when it did before... Now I will have to address the carb issue , cause it has some hesitation under load when going on the fwy.. I had to rev the accelerator back & forth to get...

U will need to get the plug issue fixed.
My bike is a 1979 so stock I believe are 90's so I only went up two sizes up cause of the pod filters 2&1 exhaust with baffle..

I did the spark plug wire & spark plug swap and still cylinder #3 is @ a lower temp then 1,2,& 4 .. What I will do is check my valves make sure they are adjusted properly and with the right amount of free play..

I"m also having the same problem on cylinder #3 took the carbs down cleaned them out with carb cleaner and compressed air ..Installed carbs fired it up and exhaust on cylinder #3 is not as hot as 1,2, & 4 .. Took a look @ the plug and it was a bit wet and it has spark. Also checked the volt...
