Re: Newbie here 1982 Honda CB650SC no power or lights dead
In any case "rats nest" sounds like it is worth pulling cables plugs and cleaning contacts and checking out cables. I would start there and spend some time for it as otherwise you probably will come back soon with other electrical issues soon even if you manage to get it working for now. ...

It looks disgusting. Seriously good patent.I use auto vacuum fittings, but I do not like the material from which they are made.Your patent looks very sealed and I think that if I do not win the lottery, your solution is my first choice.nate85 wrote: not bad for free lol

If the lights, blinkers and the rest is back the fuse is a good start stop switch is turned on and the clutch lever is pulled. You should hear the click in the solenoid and the headlight should darken a little, when you try to engage the starter. If you do not hear the click, that means the solenoid is...

Re: Newbie here 1982 Honda CB650SC no power or lights dead
Hi.You should have another fuse. The fuse is located on the starter solenoid, it should be 30 amp. This is the main fuse, so blow that one than nothing will work.Bad solenoid may be the cause of your previous problems with the starter. It is also the likelihood that there is something wrong with the ig...

Hi.81 These pressed into slow jets. If a compression test will be acceptable, you have a spark and the fuel in the float bowl, then it's time for honest question. How clean are yours slow jets? I hope this is jet or something else not a gasket.Good luck tomorrow.

Re: Runs strong 10 15 miles then cuts out?
Checking the ignition timing sounds like a good idea,I mean for me was. My bike cut off in fifth gear at 70 mp / h.Unfortunately, I do not know rpm's,I have no tachometer.I traced the cause to the ignition timing, mine was retarded as Peter Griffin.Worth checking. Its a 1972 cb500 frame with a...

Hi there! If after the engine has stopped and you can still rotate with the starter, this means you have a problem with the fuel.White spark plugs also indicate that.If you can not turn the engine, then check the rotor, brushes and battery.

Hey joejohn!
Have you checked whether you have a spark in the right coil?Cylinder 2 & 3 operate on it, so you might want to check this before you move the compression test.

I upgraded my battery to the AGM,where the acid is trapped in the fiberglass mats. The AGM battery is between the normal and the gel.I paid $ 90 for my I do not have any problems. The gel is definitely not good for our razors. Make sure that the dimensions of the new batteries are the same as th...

Hi, A clean fuel tank and carburetors are essential, along with a good grounding.I hope that the reading of the second compression test will be successful.Keep the attitude.
