I wonder how easy is it to access the choke wire from above?
Does it exist any see through drawings where i can see how close the wire goes to the airbox connections?

Re: Center Stand

I think it would be more job to remove the stand than do what i suggested. honda-cb650 a.jpg The best place to attach a metal bar is the muffler mount i have marked on the picture. And as i tried to explain, make hole big enough at one end where you will attach the bar at the muffler mount, t...

Re: how's my spark?

All i can say is even if the spark looks good outside the engine it can actually be no spark when phe plug is mounted.
Seems to me the best solution for you is actually find someone that is a bike mechanic to look over your bike.

Re: Where to chop exhaust?

Well i can say with the factory setting those pipes is no good and when i got the bike it smelled like i had the choke on when i was standig still at crossings or red lights. And i dont like those short pipes anyway, you can clearly see how black the rear brake shield is. I like to have the highest ...

The fix is to take a flat aluminum metal. sort of, at least something that does not rust.

Then you bend one end 90 ⁰ and at the other end make a hole that fits the mount for the whole muffler mount.

Re: Where to chop exhaust?

I can say dont chop at all! Mybike.jpg Do you see the pipes on my bike? Those pipes is for HD bikes mainly and it's not good to use att all. In idle the engine stutters and sneases and i have found out it's the end pipes fault. Try to find pipes that really work on a 650 cc engine if ...

Re: Go Kart wiring

Well in those boxes a car is we are practically invisible to them and at a distance the we are suerly somethig a car driver would disregard pretty easy. In many accidents here in Sweden between cars and bikes the driver says he thought it was a moped. As motorcyclists, we need to be more visible. :r...

Re: why would pipes #1 & 3 be cool?

https://s20.postimg.org/46n88amil/solenoid.jpg What are these wires going to? Is it an inline fuse holder with a 30A fuse? If not, it should be. This is not the cause of your trouble (no matter what they go to), but it is something that will need tending eventually. It originally came with a 30A bl...

Re: Go Kart wiring

I can say that if you drive a CB 650 without using any electricity exept the ignition you can drive very far without the alternator working. The only problem with not having any electricity is how to start the engine, but as an go cart engine you only need electricity at the pit stops to star...

Re: recommendations on a <$120 multimeter?

does it test diodes and capacitors and temperature and rpms? Nothing outside electrical function, i'm afraid, and on my CB 650 i have no need to check temperature and rpms. Rpm i can see on the Tachometer and the engine is aircooled so i there in no need for me to see the temp and rpm. :wink...
