Someone just pointed out that my gas tank can't be original. The bike is a 1981 CB650C. Can anyone identify the gas tank? Here are two photos of my bike:

Bad pulser generator
Suddenly I'm getting no spark on cylinders 2/3. Switching cables and wires shows everything is okay except one pulser generator, which reads infinite resistance across its two yellow wires at room temperature. Does it definitely have to be replaced? Is there any alternative to replacing the entire p...

Carburetor float bowl drain hoses?
The photo in the http://cosky0.tripod.com manual shows drain hoses attached to the four carb bowl drain fittings. I just got my bike and don't know what's missing. No ignition timing marks?
I don't see any timing marks on my 1982 CB650. (I do see setup to change the timing.) Of course, my timing light is no good without marks. What am I missing? Should I post a photo? Help!

Re: Removing Carbs
Ratchet Strap: Sears part no. 00922923000.
When you pull the carbs back to remove them, do the four rubber boots at the front of the carbs stay attached to the carbs or do they stay attached to the engine intake?
