Re: GM HEI: Cheap and Extremely Effective Ignition Upgrade
Spring is here guys! So far no one has chimed in on the 4-prong with notes other than klougnot. Lou has multiple examples of the 4-prong on a CB but no one is here on the forum. Pinhead is the only one here that has a running system and a video but is using the 7-prong module with alternate wiring....

SDG:
could you possibly post some additional different wiring diagrams.... there's only 5 or 6 in this thread, I don't believe it's confusing enough yet.

Re: Cheap Replacement Regulator
So, i unfortunately picked up one of the 'IASF' regulators.... my question is in regard to the plugs. "Go by the labels on the reg, not the order, as Ford used 2 different plugs." I also picked up a wiring plug/pigtail from rock auto, matches my IASF regulator. Some correct me if i'm wrong...

Re: GM HEI: Cheap and Extremely Effective Ignition Upgrade
Actually got a chance to work on the bike a bit this past weekend... finished up mounts for the HEI units, ford regulator and a generic rectifier. Re: 79 Honda 650 with the green tank
so maybe green ones do exist. or it could be a favorite color for some painters. So, have you guys seen this color scheme on a '79 before? I'm a little new to the CB650, but i've had a CB360T for a few years. Welcome to the forum! Thanks! :D How long has been the bike in non-running condition? I do...
