Re: 1981 CB650C Cafe Racer Project
If its a 4-1 ratio for the speedo then I should be ok. I still have not tested it though. . I got tach and speedo from dimecitycycles. If I had to guess I think it's a 4-1 ratio. I'll check when I get home. Here is my tach http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-choppe...

Re: 1981 CB650C Cafe Racer Project
VII- Where did you source your black mini gauges...? I have a 1982 CB650sc (Nighthawk) that I am converting right now. I bought mini gauges (speedo and tach) but I believe its not the correct ratio for my 650... I think the ratio is for a cb750 and the tach reads wrong. I still have not tested the s...

Re: Help Putting on new bars
I have the 1982 CB650sc Nighthawk with the funky bars that come straight up...I ended up going with Clip-Ons!
37mm is the size you need if you go the clip-on route.

Mela I had the same issue you have about 1 month ago... The post below shows everything I went through in fixing/replacing the T-Joints. FYI I used original Honda T Joints... they are expensive. I yet have found a topic on any forum on a Good replacement part other than the OEM T Joint. http://www.h...

It does say it fits a 1982 CB650 though...Ill PM the seller and see if he knows. http://cgi.ebay.co...

4 into 1 exhaust cb650sc 1982
Hey guys
I am sure it has been discussed before... Looking to get a 4 into 1 exhaust for a 1982 cb650sc nighthawk and the only one I could find is a MAC on eBay.
Are there others brands other than MAC for my bike?
Cheers

Re: Cleaning carbs and have accelerator pump jet question
I noticed that bikebandit still offers OEM gasket set for the carbs. Does anyone know if the 40$ set is for all 4 carbs or just one? In most cases the Carb Rebuild Kit is for one carb... I just bought a kit from Z1 Enterprises for $24/each. http://www.z1enterprises.com/Carburetor-Rebuild-Kit-CB650-...

Re: Carb - "T" Air Vents Replacement
Got the replacements "T" in the mail...got them installed with no major Fuss. I did find the O-rings for the small Tubes between carbs..the dealer was nice too luck through other non-Honda parts and found some that matched. And I did a quick/small polish job on the Tops. Next will be the B...

Re: Carb - "T" Air Vents Replacement
You'll need to separate the carbs which typically implies also replacement of the small O-rings of the short connection tubes between the carbs. I went ahead and ordered the "T" vents from Honda...however I am having trouble locating the smal O-Rings of the short connection tubes you ment...

Re: Carb - "T" Air Vents Replacement
I think the point of bolo79 is that you have to separate 1 from 2 and 4 from 3 but not 2 from 3, which at least avoids the fight with the choke cam spring mechanism. Don't forget to use something to fix the throttle and choke flap bolts reliably as you won't like to have them and the flaps sucked i...

Re: Carb - "T" Air Vents Replacement
To install new T fittings you do not have separate carburetor in the middle, at least I did not do.Need to unscrew the choke plate of the carburetor 1 and 4 and then spread them enough to do the job. I am having trouble imagining how this is done without separating the carbs... Do you first loosen ...
