give david silver spares a go they will help i'm sure.i've not had any problems with them.They are uk based but i believe that they ship parts all over the world and the seem to have everything.

Perhaps you could phone up honda and get data from them.or I believe there is the sohc forum maybe they can give you a better idea. personally i think they could be the same.

When i have done carb syncronisation on the carbs.There has been better fuel economy. I agree with you that they don't really need to be done. One time i was getting about 40 to the gallon then after i had done the carb syncronisation 50-55 per gallon

how do i post links. Let's just say that i saw something useful like a ebay item that somone wants or something can this be done. Also how can i put a vid on here say a youtube vid that could benefit others on here. I believe this can be done on other forums.

The cb that you have i presume it's a dohc,or is it foreign import sohc with a late registerd plate. look on ebay there is a few side panels on their.It might be worth a look on the american ebay site by the way there is one on ebay as we speak. I have just tryed to put a link to it can't manage it ...

I have the service manual which i got from a mate of mine who was a motorcycle mechanic at a shop till it closed down. Also i have a haynes manual this i have found to be ok on occasions the manual has not been that informative.like setting up the timing after rebuild. I believe that the clymmer man...

Has anyone got any ideas on vacuum gauges,where to get a set at a reasonable price. Or make a set cheaply.in the past i have managed to borrow a set now and then, but i would like a set of my own. The set i have used in the past are davida dial gauges. They are very expensive £106.00 That's $160.00 ...

I have PD carbs on my bike i do have a spare set as well, if any members are stuck for some i could possibly send them out if need be they came off a 1981 cb 650

Bummer i had a spare camshaft only a couple of months ago had it kicking around for ages had a clear out of my spares now just got a spare lump. had i been here i would have posted to you for nothing.

Before you stopped the bike what symtoms were threre.did it cough and splutter on that cylinder or did you ride one day and the next day nothing.It could be just a plug on it's way out and given up the ghost.or it could be junk in the carbs.

Now christmas and new year out of the way. I have been looking for a new crash helment, as their are tons of different ones to choose from.At the moment i have a gebs.this is old also the screen is not that great. I thought arai helmet or hjc.what would you recommend and how well have got on with it.
