Yeah man, I have a 79 cx500 deluxe tank on my 82 650 and they look great! Might have to do a little modifying where it bolts up to the frame but it's really simple. Hope this helped brotha.

'82 cb650sc nighthawk gas tank

Hi im selling my gas tank off of an 82 nighthawk. Tanks in great shape, no rust inside or outside. The tank includes the petcock and is painted flat black, also has original Honda emblems. Let me kno if interested.

High idle & backfire

So I kinda just bought this bike, its an 82 cb650 nighthawk. I was wondering why it idles so high, I fully close the choke for engine warm up nd it idles around 4500 to 5000 rpm. Also I bought the bike w. The mufflers cut off nd I think this is causing the engine to perform poorly cause of no backpr...

ill try to post pics but im not sure how, its in great condition. I bought it stock with the decals nd emblems but i took the emblems off (still have them) and sanded it down nd now its primer grey. The petcock and everythings in good condition i just bought a diff. tank, thats why im selling it.

In fact most except the engine is different and hardly interchangeable.



Ohh ok sweet, well mine are the RC08 tubes. Would you happen to know the diameter of these? That would be ossm. Thank you.

Hi, Im new here and i just bought my first bike, its an 82 cb650sc nighthawk and i was just wondering if anybody new what size clip-ons i should buy for it. Ive been doing some research and i see the fork tube size is 35mm but ive also read that someone with the same bike bought 37mm for their proje...

37mm is the size you need if you go the clip-on route.



Hi, i was just curious as to why you bought 37mm clip ons when the fork tubes for an '82 are 35mm. Do the 37mm's fit better?
