Battery size
Hey guys. Been following the sight for quite a while now. I purchased a stock battery for my cb650c which is going to be mounted under the hump on my seat. Well the battery the guy used as a mockup was from his gsxr 600. My battery is about 2 inches too tall for the fiberglass seat to come down in p...

Re: Choke question

Might be my problem. -on your picture the black plastic piece next to the double spring is where the choke cable attaches? Mine appea...

Choke question
Hey guy. I have 79 carbs and I'm having a bit of trouble putting them back together. The issue is with the butterfly's and tension springs between the two rods. When I move the butterfly's, should they spring back? Where exactly does the choke cable hook up too? Is this hooked up correctly? The spri...

Re: 1980 cb650C cafe racer. Start to current.
The tank had holes in it from rust. Get it repaired or purchase a new tank that I actually liked....... http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u199/aridecommando/The%20cafe%20racer/image-4.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u199/aridecommando/The%20cafe%20racer/image-3.jpg http://i168.photobucket.co...

Re: 1980 cb650C cafe racer. Start to current.

As I said before..... My first attempt at a rear shock mounting point. It obviously did not go so well. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u199/aridecommando/The%20cafe%20racer/null-18.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u199/aridecommando/The%20cafe%20racer/null-14.jpg

Re: 1980 cb650C cafe racer. Start to current.
I decided to keep the comstar rims. I sandblasted them, to save a few bucks before having them powder coated. Was not worth it at all. I took me over 8 hours to do, three bags of sand and only saved me $40.00. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u199/aridecommando/The%20cafe%20racer/image.jpg I had t...
