need a SOHC mech.
How do I find a shop that can finish tuning\double check my work. All the shops that I have talked to say bring it in but when I talk about the mods that have been made they get the glazed deer in the head lights look. I'm in central Florida (Orlando)

So I've finally made it back to the bobber project. I decided to check the valve settings following the manual. With #1 TDC there was no clearance on either valve and it took a lot of adjustment to get what I think is a good setting. I moved to #2and #3 and couldn't get either. Set without a lot of ...

I found out these are cb750 carbs. it's a 1972 cb750 frame.

anybody know of a good mini speedo and cable out there? I'm thinking of using the old horn mount but might hang it under the clutch lever.

I do have a clymer book. I have no idea how many miles are on the bike. I do have full smooth cables. So i guess i'll look on ebay. Thanks for the help.

clutch problem
My 81 cb650 sat for a few years got it running ok but the clutch seems to be slipping bad. No matter what gear. I don't have a tach but rapped up tight in 5th gear only gets me 35mph. Can it just be the wrong oil or is there an adjustment. If i need a new clutch where can i get one seems like a lot ...

The Frankinbobber is running great on this ignition i used a different coil mine is an accel for a Mitsubishi.wish i could post picks and videos on here but if you go to my show off thread their is a link to my Facebook pictures

i think i'll try it on my own it looks like pulling them off is the only real tough part. bought some leather for my seat today.

got the exhaust mocked up on the right side. the new clutch lever put on the new bars and cut down the spark plug wires

I've never been very successful with carb work but i found a shop that will do full rebuild and sync. for 75.00 per carb. does that sound about right?

found some clubman style z bars but i think i like them upside down right now but i'll have to finish the seat before i make the final call. I'll post new pics this afternoon. I haven't checked the timing yet that should happen today. I'm still waiting on my peanut tank also.
