Re: Dead Spark Plug

So I'm tracking down hard starting (yah think?) I have two accelerator pump nozzles not spraying. What's a good method to clean them? Bend a wire to try to clear them in place? press them out of the bodies? Help me before I blunder (yet again).

didn't find this addressed in a search.

Re: Hi all! Newby with an 80 barn find, going at it.

Well thought I had the carbs finished up and put them back on. Air cleaner boots etc. all back in place. I use a plastic "lawn mower" tank for first starts. The good news is it runs and runs well AND it's charging, nice consistent voltage rising to about 14 volts at 4K rpm. Woo hoo. The ba...

Re: help with cylinder head bolts.

As much heat as you can get on the bolt a heat gun is useful here. What ever brand of rust buster you prefer, Or a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF Use a chunk of aluminum to protect the bolt head and smack it with a hammer, heat rust buster repeat. Do not "just try to loosen also try to to tighten...

Hi all! Newby with an 80 barn find, going at it.

She shows 4400 on the clock and dust thick enough to grow crops. But the barn was dry and the bird crap is washing off. Bike is 100% complete and never been down. Rust ain't bad, and there wasn't even a mouse nest in the air cleaner. Key was sitting in the ignition. http://www.bsupply.us/cb650/cb650...
