I picked up a parts bike the other day, and there will be some things I wont be using for my project. I need a front brake light switch. Would be willing to take the whole front brake handle assembly if thats easier. Also need a speedo cable and speedo sender unit(or whatever you want to call it).

Thanks for the welcome and link Volker_P, I have been chasing links for a few days. Most guys are lower then I am (2000 feet) I think I found the right jets, just got to wait to order.....got to love taking time off for holidays...

I know I have to rejet my carbs, question is, do I just order the 2 jets, or do I need needles for the main jets as well? Everything is in good shape. And can anyone point me in the direction of the right jets? the ones on jetsrus under pd mains, are different then the ones in my carbs. not sure wha...

I just picked up my first motorcycle. Its a project, and will be a learning experience.

clean up wiring
new speedo/tach combo if I can find one that will work (suggestions??)

Help me make it run right
Just picked up a 1980 650 bobber project (first motorcycle) and I am having a hard time getting it to run right. At full choke it SCREAMS, no idea of rpm cause PO took off the tach. I pulled the carbs off and cleaned them, although all but one jet were clear. I had idle screws at 1.5 turns (po had t...
