I'm thinking of buying a cheap impact wrench today, and try with that.

Re: Big oil leak behind generator cover

...and the bike is in gear? Is your clutch slipping? Yes, the bike is en gear. The rotor only turns when I apply force by trying to get the bolt off. I’m a mechanic novice, so I don’t know if my clutch is slipping. I’m having some problems getting it into neutral if the bike isn’t rolling, maybe th...

Re: Big oil leak behind generator cover

It’s proven me very difficult to remove the bolt holding the rotor. I did what Folsoml suggested, and put a piece of wood in the spokes of the rear wheel to keep it from turning, but the rotor keeps turning when I try to unscrew the bolt :? What to do?

Big oil leak behind generator cover

So I was trying to replace my rotor yesterday. When I started my bike, I had forgotten to put in the four bolts that hold the generator cover  The cover felt out and oil was poring out of hole where a little bolt had fallen out. My question is, what is this bolt and how do I secure it properly...
