here 28 celcius is too much, although our atlantic humdity is stiffling

if it checked out at 4.8 ohms your okay a rotor is either good or bad, nothing in between have you checked the pulse generators with your meter, they can be weak..right round cover, check them at the plug in if their okay, next step is plug wires ,, its only a few dollars to get new 7mm wire..$20 wi...

your charging rotor is your trouble

under the round left engine cover is where its located

get a multimeter, check the readings between the slip rinngs, there is a posting explaing these proceures, in one of the technical areas

white is a very nice colour , look at the highway and see how many white vehicles are bought today, and they are easy to see at a distance


ie..rcmp cruisers..ambulances..


plus white..is an easy colour to accent with red ,blue,black pinstriping

in the right side clutch cover, there is the ratchet gearing for the gear shifts

pull off the clutch cover and inspect the gear selector wheel at the top of the block

there is a downloadable manual here on this site, look under clutch
