Re: front brake light switch

Something seems missing here, let's try to clarify. According to the wiring diagram you should have a green/white (12V from fuse box) and a green/yellow cable that share the common red plug connector to the handlebar right side stuff as front brake switch, starter button and engine kill switch. Or ...

CB650 Custom

Just completed my Bobber build so it is now time to sell my CB650 Custom. It is a 1979/80 model. MOT until April 2017. Riden daily with no engine issues. One of the fork seals has decided to start weeping which can be seen in photo and will need a new rear tyre within a couple of hundred miles. Genu...

Fork swap

G'day all. I got a 1982 CB650 Nighthawk and a 1980 CB650 Custom. I have a spare Nighthawk front end. Could it be a straight swap onto the Custom as I would like to have twin disc and air forks on the custom as it is my daily ride. Also need to know how much oil goes in them air forks if anyone knows...

Re: resetting trip odometer 82 650 nighthawk. need info

You are correct in your assumption, you do just push the button on the '82 Nighthawk. It could be you need to strip them down to sort out why yours does not. On my 3rd '82 Nighthawk now and all have been push button re-set. My '81 cb650 Custom has the knob which turns. Totally different clocks.

Cylinder head bolts

I need a set of cylinder head bolts for a 1982 CB650 sohc engine as I have 2 engines which I want to build 1 good one from to build a bobber but I have no head bolts and they are damn hard to find here in the UK. Anyone know where I can get a usable set from or what compatible head bolts will do the...
