I like the choke relocation. Did you shorten the cable yourself or did you buy it somewhere?

Re: Cb650z cafe racer
I live in Sweden. My guess is that it won't be worth the cost.

Only tail light. The seat is chopped up an cut to pieces. The new seat is actually bolted onto the old metal one.

Longer rear shocks, handling?
I found a couple of used hagon rear shocks for a good price. But they are maybe 0.6-0.7 inches longer then the old ones (if even that). And I won't be able to ride with them on my bike.
My question is, could that small extension change the handling in a negative way?

remove tachometer cable, how?
Done some googeling, but no real answer to the question.
So this seems like a good place to ask.
Do I just need to loosen the bolt and pul out the cable?
Any suggestions how or with what I could use to plug the hole?

Re: led indicators doesn't work at all.
I tried using resistors (although 120ohm) and connecting it in circuit with the led indicator, and that did nothing. So now i'm thinking that I might just strip down two light bulb indicators and connect them parallel with the led's in the back and just hide them under the seat, because that made ev...

Re: led indicators doesn't work at all.
The fuses where the second thing I checked, and they where all fine.
And like I said, an indicator with a normal bulb blinked. But when it's all led the flasher relay doesn't even make a sound.

led indicators doesn't work at all.
So I installed led indicators and changed the flasher relay and everything worked. Then uninstalled the console and changed it to one with led's also. And now the indicators wont even light up. I tried to install the old indicator, and that one blinked. The only two solutions I can see is 1. all fou...

Mini speedo kph?
So i'm trying to figure out the what speedo you need. If the bike is a stock cb650z from 1981 then you need one with 2240:60 ratio, which is the same as 1400:60 in kph? So this should do it right? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Speedo-Kmh-Control-Lights-Harley-Davidson-Yamaha-Honda-Suzuki-chopper-/3...

Re: Dead bike and clutch problems
Thanks for the advice. I actually did that on the connectors under the seat, the solenoid one, the ones in the headlight. And it was in that process I found the disconnected cable

Re: Dead bike and clutch problems
This thread can die. I was in luck.
It was the connector to the ignition and light cluster that been disconnected. Don't judge me =)
But the circumstance really made it seem like something else was wrong.
Thanks for the time and help though.

Re: Dead bike and clutch problems
Yes of course. Typical new user syndrome. First of all I bought the bike last week. And this happened after the first time I rode it. It mostly been standing for about one years I guess. But it cold started fine when I bought it. I live in Sweden. I have checked the fuses including main fuse, and th...
