Great bike...I've got a 4 into 1 on my Z as well. Really nice job with the seat minimization. If I could change one thing I'd do something similar.
I've never found anyone with my color scheme--albeit my bike's from Germany.

Good place in Cologne or Berlin to get tank dents fixed?
Does anybody know of a quality and affordable shop around Cologne or Berlin where one can get dent work done?
Anyone successfully repairs dents themselves? I got one in the corner (golf-ball sized) and a big shallow broad one across one side of the tank.
Thanks,
KaiserKlayton

Re: My Honda CB650z
kemp,
Hey there. Good to have another z-er to talk too. Your bike looks beautiful. Maybe sometime soon I'll make it under the channel and ride England. I'd imagine riding in that beautiful country up there is other-wordly.

Re: My Honda CB650z
cb650, here's a pic of the 360. It's in Virginia, not NY. It's a friend of mine's. I did a basic internal pass on it, didn't spend too much time on it. Sort of a clunker. Had a seized piston (he kept it outside for a while during winter and rain got in through the exhaust), so I un-seized and so on ...

Re: My Honda CB650z
Volker, Thanks for all of the great information. The puzzle is starting to unfold. The engine is indeed an RC03, and I remember determining that the "age" of the engine didn't quite match up with the year I was told for the rest of the bike. The man I bought it from in Koeln told me it was...

Volker,
Beautiful!
I remember those mountains.
The valley d'Aosta into Italy was also thrilling. Took a day trip there for lunch then back to Aime in France.

Re: My Honda CB650z
If anyone can help me identify the exact year and model of this bike I'd appreciate it. Because I'm stateside right now, I won't have hands or eyes on the bike until late July. Once I see it I'll check for dates. However, as I recall, there seems to be confusing information as to what year this is. ...

Re: My Honda CB650z
Thanks everyone! I'm stateside in NYC right now finishing up my master's degree but will be back in Germany for a month this Summer, then indefinitely starting the next.
I miss my bike! She's in Germany.

My Summer 2k12 Trip
This is the general route I took, round trip, on my CB650z during the summer of 2012. I only took smaller highways on the way south—no autobahns—and took my sweet time over three days. On the way back, I was in a time crunch, so took the autobahns through Switzerland and Germany. Great trip and the ...
