Hi,
thanks for your reply.
Yes I am talking about the CB650 SC .
The VB44s are also very difficult to find.
I thought about the VE54 but those carbs belong to the CBX 650.
Got no specification for it...
So I will continue searching.
Regards
Patrick

Carburetor Question CB 650 RC08
Hello from Franconia, Germany!
I have a question concerning the carbs for my CB 650 RC08 from 1982.
Originally the bike runs with the Keihin VB 54 carbs.
Is there any chance to install any other type of carb on this CB 650?
Thanks in advance
Best regards
Patrick

Re: Fischer FS 01 Forward Control on CB 650 RC08
Hello.
This was my first thought ,too.
Well, maybe I can fix it?
At the moment I have other problems with high revs which won't decrease after I pull the clutch. Occurs only with hot a enginge.
I will see.

Fischer FS 01 Forward Control on CB 650 RC08
Hello together, I just bought an old Forward Control Kit FISCHER FS 01 originally built for Honda's CB 750 KZ. I checked if the kit fits on the frame of my CB 650 RC08 - it's possible to mount it onto the given positions. But as you can seen on the attached pictures the gear lever shows to the right...

I just looked at it....perfect, but I think the fork diameter of 83-85 model is 39mm. So it won't fit??!!

Re: Handle Bar CB 650 RC08
Welcome here, Patrick! :D Never tried swapping forks but I won't like to have the weaker fork (and possibly also the single piston calipers) just because of the handlebars. You're right. Choosing a weaker fork won't be a good idea...! @jcasey007: Yes...that's what I am looking for. But with the ori...

Handle Bar CB 650 RC08
Hello from Franconia, Germany. :D Currently I'm trying to customize my old '82 CB 650 RC08. For a better look and handling I wanted to mount a different handlebar. But as you know the RC08 comes with this terrible handlebars without the usually used riser (see RC05). Using a forkcrown of RC05 is imp...
