Re: Looking for CB 650 RC03 rear bumper
I have one, I can send it to you. €35 + shipping, does that work for you?

Re: Wheelin & dealin
Are you looking for an engine to use as a guide? Or you want a running engine so you don't have to build yours? I have a non-functional but fully assembled engine I'd be happy to get rid of, cheap, if you're looking for the former.

Front Caliper Shaft Bushing
Rebuilding my front caliper and I need new rubber bushings for the shafts. Any reason not to use regular rubber tubing of the proper size? The actual part is nearly impossible to find. And while on the subject, I noticed when disassembling the caliper that the shafts seemed to be packedin grease. I'...

Re: Ignition Modification/Wiring new switch
Any idea what that needs to be? As in is there a particular rating I should look out for?

Re: Generator cover polishing
How to remove stuck screws. 1) Ensure cover is well-braced; a couple long bolts through where the ones holding it to the engine went, passed through a drilled 2-by-4 or piece of heavy plywood does the trick nicely. 2) Spray a little WD-40 or other lube around the base of the screws. 3) Get a manual ...

Dynamo Cover Gasket
Hey All, I'm in the process of refinishing the engine covers, and I've just realized I'll need to replace the gaskets for the right crankcase and (left side) dynamo covers. Does anyone have any advice on where to get these? CMSNL has them, but I'd prefer not to have to ship from the Netherlands. Doe...

Re: Generator cover polishing
Yours, too! So, I just took a shot at removing the stator from the cover with a massive screwdriver: those babies don't wanna budge, which seems to be the consensus from EVERYONE. I still want to get that cover cleaned up, so what I'm thinking is: remove it, along with the cord and plug, as the Clym...

Generator cover polishing
My other question: I'm midway through stripping/polishing my engine covers. I removed the generator cover (for the first time; I've only had the bike since May) and discovered the stator bolted firmly inside. My instinct is to just pop out the three screws and see if I can get it out of the cover, b...

Ignition Modification/Wiring new switch
Hey, All, This is the first of a couple questions I wanted to throw out there, but in two separate posts so the topics are clear… I want to swap out the stock ignition switch on my '79 650 for a smaller one I can more easily relocate. Obviously, I'll be ditching the steering lock. My question is: th...

Re: Rearsets
For the record, there are already two bolt on solutions to mount rearsets on the 650. The first is the massive set of plates made by Raask, pictured in my original post, above. The second I'll attach a photo of, below: fairly similar to the aftermarket set made by Raask, it's the original from the 6...

Re: Rearsets
Another way for someone to answer this question might be: is it possible that a bracket could fit on the cb500, cb550 and cb750K, but not on the cb650?
