I see your in the USA which is a lot warmer then the UK so this may be of help. The thing with these CB650 is they seem to be terrible at cold starting and totally hate being left for a period of time. Depending what you read people say it's down to the head flow being to efficient, incorrect carb jetting, poor quality parts etc, but if they were like this from new how the hell...

Throttle cables
Does anyone know the part No. For both throttle cables on a 1981 CB650Z running the CV carbs. Struggling a bit, most cables are to short designed for the PD carbs.....

The bike is in the UK but I don't know where it was before I had it as it was re registered in 1997 so it could be an import....????

Hiya thanks for the add.......
Well the VB54s line up but I thought they should be VB44s?????? So what do the VB54s come from?????
Also I see honda do sell a 2mm offset carb insulator for the CB650 which I thought about using to try and get the PD51s working......
