i think you are talking about the 4 exhaust manifold gaskets, i didnt know what mine were for when done the top end of my engine. i also put pods on it and it poped alot on decelleration, so i put these in after figuring out what they were and it stopped popping!

i have inspected the discs very carefully and have found no cracks at all but i will be aware now that you have mentioned this and will check reqularly.

well the paint has been on there for just over a year now and hasne come off yet! its ok if fuel gets on it but if you rub them then it comes off, i can get some petrol resistant lacquer to put on them in the future. have just purchased some drilled front discs from ebay so they will be going on soon.
