Hard to go wrong for $200! Sort of looks like the old Honda SilverWings , GL650 or 500 (I can't remember which). A guy I used to know had one. The sound coming from those speakers was not good. Check wires going to the turn signals. the front running lites are are the same fuse and they get pinched in the turn limit tabs by the steering head. Might not be the prob but a place to start.

I believe all the tube diameters are the same. Sounds like a aftermarket air system. Can you put them in a vise with protection?

FYI The comstars like on Ibsens bike first came out in 76 or 77. The black ones are acually called the reverse.

I was going throught the carbs on the 81 the other day and noticed it was metal. Didnt think to take it over to the 80 carbs laying loose to compare. Will do that soon.

They are tapered also (most of the time) so measuring isnt always exact.
Hey can we throw in british witworth as stange to. I' had to deal with it too.

The thread size in the oil press switch is American standard pipe. Find that on most japan cars too.
