Re: Misc 650 Parts

Thanks for the offer. What's happend to mine tach is that the electrical wire to it got severed in a traffic accident and the break pedal have been forced inwards. It would'nt go free from the outer side of the exhaust system if it would go lower down before the brake is engaged. The cromed bottom ...

Re: Scored a 4 to 1 for $60

What I have read is two opinions, wrapping them hurts the heads and valves, since the heat stays high with the wrap on, and that it does increase exhaust velocity. I have also read experiences people have had no damage long term to the engine. Yet they stated they had issues with heat stress cracks ...

Re: Misc 650 Parts

I would like the Tach only and the brake pedal but i suppose you wont ship it to Sweden. The other problem is i'm not sure i can get the money you want for it in this instance. When i need something fixed on my bike i need to evaluate the cost first. I could ship them to sweden. Re: Looking for Engine Removal tips

Does the right side of the frame not unbolt on the custom? check it out it should unbolt unless they changed it,
If they did, i had to pick up the back, towards the seat while sliding the front down the frame and twist it out on my hardtail frame.

Re: Front Caliper Shaft Bushing

Yeah when i bought parts for my caliper, these were unobtainable, got everything else though. Im not sure if a pc of hose would be ok or not, if you look at the rubber if its still intact, there are concave marks in the rubber, i dont know if those are required to help the caliper slid on those shaf...

Re: Dynamo Cover Gasket

This seems like a fair price for a set, plus you would have a few extra gaskets for future work, and its in Cali. All the case gasket sets i seen on ebay seem way over priced for just a few gaskets. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NE-Brand-Complete-Motorcycle-Gasket-Set-Honda-CB650-CB650C-CB650SC-1979-1982-...

Re: Piston kit

About the only oversize pistons that you will find as a kit will be the Dynoman Performance DP674 674cc kit. HOLY @*^# $519.95? I spent less on 8 Keith Black Forged Pistons for my 347 stroker in the Mustang I built.......my..wtf....wow.......unreal. At that price those pistons better give you 200hp...
