It sounds as you still have some dirt in the system. Does the brake unlock if you open the bleed screws? If it doesn't the pistons isn't moving smoothly in the callipers.

It sounds as a fuel starvation problem. Are you sure you didn't run out of fuel and the petcock should have been set to RES? It is not unlikely that you managed to fill the float bowls again after you parked the bike on the sidestand and the engine started again. If that isn't the problem, as a star...

I'm sorry to read about your accident Volker, and I'm glad you seem to be ok. And your first reaction about quit riding bikes is understandable. But take your time and think things over. We love riding bikes and that's why we do it, but we also know it's a calculated risk. I wish you a fast recovery...

To prepair them, gently wet sanding them starting off with a 400 grit paper and ending with a 1200 or 1500 grit. Then polish them with an Aluminium polish. And to acchieve that mirror finish a buff wheel is needed. But it will look pretty good if you polish by hand also. Btw, here in Norway, and in ...

Glad you got it fixed. :D Loose torx screws was the problem with my starter clutch as well. But since I already had the parts I replaced the springs the plungers and the rollers. But I have checked the rollers, springs and the plungers closely after I took them out and they are in good shape so the ...

Buber, they are up for sale on Ebay USA from time to time. I bought a spare cam that way last winter, and the price wasn't bad either, and the cam was in very good shape. Just make sure you get the one with the high lobes (63hp).

The leak I had on mine when I bought it was from the oil pump cover. It was a pretty easy fix. But as Volker mentioned, the screws for the oil pump cover is best replaced with Allen bolts.

Andy, try www.z1enterprises.com

I think they can offer you a good quality O-ring chain (RK or EK) and a set of sprockets (JT)for a reasonable price.

Yes, the petrol prices are really steep although we produce the oil ourself. :? I have never been to Norkapp myslef, and it isn't on my "10 things to visit" list either. Oils for diesle engines will in general work well in a motorcycle engine. At least they have till now. Btw, did yo...
