from what i have seen, they say the 550 frames are identical to the 650 frame. The only thing that is the same about the 550/650 frames is the engine mounting. Rearsets usually require frame modification to remove the rear peg mount. An easy bolt on solution is not likely to exsist for the 650. Isn...

have u posted on the sohc4 forums yet? there is more people over there, and thus might be some better/different ideas, just remember 1 thing, no matter what you do to the bike. Safety - do it right so u dont become a stain on the asphalt.

OP, it depends really, on how much you want to do. It would mean they would need to fab a fair amount to flatten that seat area out to be like the non C frame, or if that wasnt feasible they would need to cut from the rear of the tank all the way to the rear, and re make a flat seat area out of tubi...

wrong years. 79/80 are mechanical 81/82 are cv's. Head changed. Some one did get them to interchange using different intakes. Old thread. And how to use kawi carbs too in it. That said being 30 plus years engines could have been changed by a PO. I so wish we could get some of the 750 love to rub of...
