I'm pretty sure this is not the cause of leak. Did knocking on the carbs with wood help?

Hi, I had the same problem.Check your alternator rotor, and if you have a cheap battery, it can be a problem.My old battery cost $ 30, after a 6 months stops taking charge.The engine stopped working and started half an hour without a problem.I had the same suspicions which brought me to tears almost...

Sorry Alex, got mixed you with Dave.And so to the point,the plug is turned back to front and connector housing is shaved from the locking clip.The pictures are horrible quality, if you need better pics on a saturday I'll have time during the day,so let me know.

I'm having problems with hooking it up though. Apparently the new starter solenoid has similar 4 prong connections but doesn't hook up directly to the old 4 prong plug coming from the starter. It seems that you have two problems in your hands :( but you can be sure the clocks have nothing to do with them,motorcycle should work regardless of whether the speedometer and tachometer are connected or not.
