Re: Setting floats level

I totally get it now. :D
The weird thing is that my needles have a spring in them making it hard to set. The top of the needle can be pushed down 2-3mm. Maybe the be previous owner got the wrong ones.

Re: Setting floats level

I got mine just like yours on the pics. They are almost at level when 12,5mm. The image I posted is just to show where to measure, not even a PD51 carb. I've seen some cb750 guys measuring when the carbs are tilted (like in this link) http://www.hondachopper.com/garage/carb_info/float_levels/float_l...

Re: Hi, new guy signed in

Yes, the first thing I did was to pull the tank and petcock, flush it and install an inline filter and new fuel hose :P There was surprisingly little debris in the tank and no rust at all. I got an extra rack of PD51A carbs from a local bike salvage yard just a few miles from here. I'm going to clea...

Hi, new guy signed in

Hi, I'm a new member and this is my first CB-bike. I'm 40 years old, working as a systems engineer in southern Sweden. The last few days I've been lurking the forum and it looks like a nice place to be. I have owned a Harley and a Honda RC30 but got tired of them pretty fast. I've always loved the s...
