Hi All

I finally got the tank back from the painters today (16 weeks), I please with the results and can finally get some descent miles on it.

She is called Jezebel, the tank depicts he two sides good girl/bad girl :-)

That looks AWESOME! I don't know why, but it's the rims that impress me the most.

they are cheap code filters from ebay not good quality only had them whilst I built my custom air cleaner.

before buying search the forum for 'Pod Filters'

They obviously had been disassembled (bolts, no rivets).
Interesting fork stiffener.

Yes Volker_P they were disassembled (carefully) and rebuilt with high grade M8 Stainless.

when I was thinking of doing it there was quite a bit of posting on the dangers of doing it badly, but 2500 miles later have not had any problems

the fork brace came from Fast From The Past in the US (https://www.fastfromthepast.com). really nice quality. not sure if I really needed it as I do not race around scraping the pegs :-) , but it does stiffen up the front end, especially without a mud guard.

I could imagine it plays a role whether you first torque the center bolts or the rim bolts.

jezebel (my CB650 bobber) won 'best bike' in Readers Lives section of this months edition of 'Back Street Hero's' magazine.
