Re: my 650 bobber
Quite succesful oldtimer look. Reminds me a bit to 1930's bikes. Just install a carbide lamp and a straight spring rear suspension (sorry, would be "Geradewegfederung" in German) and sell it for a really horrible price to a collector.

Re: my 650 bobber
Hello all I'm new to this site..I Just started chopping up my cb650 to a bobber ,but I would like change the comstars to spoke rims with the rear being able to use at least a 180 to a 200 rear tire any suggestions?
Re: my 650 bobber
You'll have to do something with the swing arm most likely to go that wide.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

Re: my 650 bobber
Welcome here!
The narrow engine and frame of the CB650 seems no the best basis for this kind of modification. For my stock 130/90-16 rear tire, there is already a cutout in the stock chain guard. Playing around with spacers and spokes may allow for 140, but for more you'll probably need new ideas. If you like to keep the frame you'll probably have to make a hard tail (or mount a wider swing arm elsewhere but between the center frame structures) and still turn out with a quite asymmetric rear unless you have a good idea for engine-chain-rear sprocket alignment, maybe another sprocket cam in front of the rear wheel or so.
Without such things, I'd say the bike of bodydropcris indicates what you can do about tire width, still one or maybe two sizes more should be possible with a spoke wheel then.

Re: my 650 bobber
We removed the swing arm and made it to a hard tail.. Well I could settle for a 140 ,but most of all I really want spokes .. Any suggestions to where I can look around to buy a set that would fit?
