Really good job. Nice line, correct color! Looks fast. After all that effort you got a fine bike there.
The completely silver front with the silver brakes looks fine. One could try how it looks like with the chromed instrument rings (first by photoshop/gimp).
What is the circular gauge (or whatever it is ?) at the right fork for? Looks really important .

Thanks. She's certainly a heartbreaker! The contrast between as she was and how she is always astonishes me. The disk think of which you speak is just a chrome tax disk holder, or road fund liscence or whatever name it goes by where you are. I'm not sure actually, though not a purist, where the correct placing os the holder is? Iv always put it on the front "fender" anyway. I know a guy who has one as a key fob! A bit awkward, but it never gets stolen - which is a common thing apparently!

Appreciate your comments. Have one replacement chrome dish to fit. Not going to go "chrome" for the sake of it. Keeping it subtle I think. :D

Like it a lot. Looks good de-badged, very clean lines. I'm thinking along the same lines, subtly updated and nice and clean, not concours or massively changed from stock - although my colour choce may be a bit louder than yours! :D

Thanks Phil. I chose the colour, because, and don't laugh, It's the same colour as my car. So I figured I'd have a matching set! As its turned out, I inherited a CB 250 from my brother, which is black...bought a CBX 750 which is black, a Suzuki GSX650F which happened to be...black and the chop of course which is...blue!

I apreciate your comments. The 650's previous owner wanted a "streetfighter" - so had set about taking as much chrome off the thing as possible. Cut back minimal front mudguard. Minimal rear mudguard (basically the numberplate) mini indicators, square headlamp, Renthal bars - loads of orange paint and he'd even slid the headstock down the fork tubes an inch or so to make the nose dive a bit. It looked Ok - but this is better!

Hi Phil. They are in a box somewhere in the shed. i'll take a peek as soon as I have got five minutes mate. They are plastic ones, thet ype you find hanging up in most motorcycle dealers in the accessories section. I think he bought them from Halfords actually! There are in a state though. One of the lenses is smashed. Don't know if they will be of any use. I have some chrome ones somewhere too. Though these are long stem 6v suzuki items.

Soz. typing in a hurry always mucks up my spelling (that's my excuse and im sticking to it!) You can just about se the indicators in the video still I have of the CB before I got my hands on it. They are attached to the headlamlp bracket where the orange reflectors should live!

Don't worry about searching if they're not in a tidy condition; as you say there's plenty around. If they were good and just taking up space in yuor shed then we might have had a deal, but not if they're a mess. Thanks anyway.

It could be a real showstopper. The most complete and original Brit CB I have set my eyes on for a good while. :)

talk about sick as a dog! Mind you - eye of the beholder and all that. My donor bike was a heap and about 80% complete. I bought it for £30! Buying wholesale can be a good investment sometimes!! :) :P
