1980 650 bobber. first bike.

jetted carbs, pod filters, and straight pipes. runs great. 1000 invested. my buddy got the bike cherry from a guy who used it as a sunday driver for 27 years. had 6000 original miles on it. 11,000 now. anyway, he ripped it apart and painted a moustache on it for me. tell me what you think.

I like it!

Although I would change the tires ASAP if I plan to ride it around a lot.

How does it sound with the pipes? Must be LOUD. I've been interested in hearing what an uninhibited 650 engine sounds like.

Straights on a 4-2 isn't nearly as loud as you think.

Yeah I was surprised at how quiet it is at idle. But it deffinatly screams when it opens up

Nice job!
What kind of airfilters did you use? Because of the distance between the carb and the frame you need smaller ones.
Also, how did you rejet with the airfilters and the exhaust like this.
