Re: Vetter Quicksilver Fairing
I played around a bit and it seems not to be a problem of this forum or its software but has to do with the webshots site structure. For the [img] -function here, you have to use a URL out of the "link to this picture" function in webshots where you can select picture size. It takes some time for the higher resolutions, maybe the picture is produced from the original and then the link is generated.
That's the way I managed to get this:

And here are just the last two lines from the above post with "Disable BBCcode in this post" activated to show you how I did it. Hope that helps to get ahead.

Re: Vetter Quicksilver Fairing
I have the same fairing on my '80. They sold a lot of them. Careful over 90mph, they generate a little bit of lift. Well made and sturdy. It could have been a little higher for me and handguards would be nice too. I keep my tools in the left side storage compartment of the fairing and other road service stuff in the right. I'm trying to think of a good place to mount the GPS. Hmmmmm???
My '80 is all black with Hondaline fiberglass bags, cargo carrier, extension with highway pegs. I'll have to take some photos.
