Bike looks great, especially the tank. Gotta say, those nubs on it can't be comfortable for long though, hehe.

Hope you are right, but 115 sounds strange.
I think stock mains of the 1981 carbs are 120. If you now have 115, you either have a more restrictive system than stock, a quite plugged stock air filter or your bike is too lean now. Which does not necessarily mean it will run bad like that, especially if you miss a "before" experience at reasonable settings. Keep an eye on your plugs. A bit of white is all right, but they should not look really snow white or even burned. And of course they should look equal.
Too lean may cause severe overheating damage to the engine at highway speeds.

Stock for those carbs should have been 120 or 118 FYI.
Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

What is that tank, a CB/CL160 or maybe 175? Looks cool on there. Never
would have thought of doing that tank. 8) Like to see more and hear more
about this one.

Cool, I can't believe that I didn't notice the tail piece better. That is so original and looks
Great! I Have seen H-D Sportster Tanks used for the tail piece, but this one is a first for me.
Really has a unique look. ;)
