It did turn over just never would crank. Guess I cut the wires to the tach and speedo and hook back up the neutral light. Thanks bro.

If the starter spins, there is no need to care for the neutral light or whatever. However if you don't have a spark so it won't start due to that (check out for spark!), care for the kill switch cable and connector.

it trys to crank but wont. im goin to get the carbs done then worry bout that i guess, so ga doesnt spill. thats probably the problem anyway.

been busy tho getting rid of things i dont need

lowered the rear somemore and added a tank which will be repainted eventually. not the tank i wanted but it will work. its coming to gether need to hardtail it soon

1980 cb 650 bobber project

got the headlight on and made some brackets.

also i am going to be putting some odds and ends on ebay so if anyone wants to purchase them, just send me a pm

on a side note i just picked up a 1973 honda 550 four. i will be taking parts off as well

So this is my 1980 cb650 bobber project so far

got smaller tank, bottom mount headlight, clip ons. saving for the hardtail. several things left to do but here it is so far
