My New Hard tail 83 cb650sc

Postby Duffer937 » Mon Feb 13, 2012 10:32 am

Its been completely redone. yet i am running into carbs leaking. I ran seafoam through it and did the whole tap on the carbs with a screw driver. I think i have it fixed but im not sure.

Welcome here! :D

I'm not too familiar with the DOHC's but this looks quite different from stock.
Good work!

I really like your bike.
I just like to know whit how may inches you extended the swingarm and
how did you fabricate this one?
It looks great.

Thanks.

As the 1983 is a shaft drive, I really doubt that the swing arm itself had been extended.

On the picture it looks like it is extended with a couple of inches.
Comparing to the chain driven CB650, the swing arm looks longer.

This looks like a modified RC13 frame.
Swing arm might be longer than for RC05, but quite sure we still see here the stock RC13 swing arm.
RC03 (1979/Z-model) swing arm is different and probably a little bit longer than RC05, maybe in the order of one inch. However I just remember they are not identical and did not try if they would swap in principle.
