I think it looks great with the black motor and the 4 into 4 exhaust. Nice job. Post some more pictures.

cleaned the clocks up some, the cap nuts are new from OEM dealer painted the black parts with shaker can, and scraped of the faded warning sticker, also fabricated new rubber shock washers out of fuel line tubing, Im thinking on adding LED illumination.

That bike is awesome! I love the work you put into it. I have a question though. Were your original wheels in good condition? I have an 81' 650 that needs some new wheels and I have been searching for an affordable set of comstars in good condition.

I see those comstars on ebay all the time fairly cheap, I used the brake panel off of my rear comstar and gutted the bearings and re used the axle so theres not a complete wheel, and i will most likely need the rotor from the front, im planning on rebuilding the spoked front wheel this weekend. were yours wornout or damaged I bought all my bearings off ebay to rebuild mine. not a fun job but nice knowing there done

My spokes in the rear are completely rusted. (it sat outside under a cover for two years! :( ) I was looking at the comstars because I like the way they look and I figured they'd be less maintenance and wouldn't rust (I live near the beach, thus rust is a HUGE problem just from riding). I'll keep searching. :)
