bike looks good from what I can see pics are kinda blurry.
don't take offense but it could be from shaking the camera to much when you take the picture . try to push the button more slowly and gentle or
The camera should have a closeup setting with a icon that looks like a tulip flower if you select this for close up pics they will turn out better.

From what I could tell you did a soothe job of painting and Now you got me wanting to repaint my gages they are kinda scratched and have a slight amount of rust bubbling up under the paint I need to take care of it while I still have covers to repaint.

Its, blury from the crappy camera, bad photographer, and the beers

If you do repaint take the guages apart and tape the glass of with good painters tape
good luck

Sweet. Nice work. You gonna keep the windjammer fairing? I might be interested in buying it if not.

I've got one that was on mine. Not the same as Joe's though. Look in the classified section for pics.

pics of the front end rebuild, changed the forkseals, and dust covers or as the Brits said in the book dust excluders. added the spoked front rim, had to use the comstar disc it is smaller the front caliper rebuilt, with paint stripped, if you thinking of doing that think hard it is a pain getting the black paint off.

stripped the paint off an 85' master cylinder and it is the one piece type, also put a speed bleeder on the caliper, this combo worked well.

cut the new RK chain and mounted it, used 2 C clamps and some ball bearings too fit the rivet type plate and master link, i need to get a lil bigger c clamp to get a hair more squish on the rivets.

the sprockets are 17T front and 40T rear, the 79' originally was 16T and 40T, the 82 SC was 17T and 39T , my motor being a new 82 SC type I decided to leave the 17T front since I was fitting a new chain anyway, anyone got a clue on what ratio change ill have?
