Looks cool! Good work!
How are those handlebars? Are they comfortable? Do you have any pics of you on the bike in riding position? I'm considering bars like that but I'm nervous that they'll be uncomfortable...

The bars are great, I put them on the first day I picked up the bike. My arms are not locked but close to extended, it more what I wanted. A street tracker/cafe racer...type bike.

Welcome here!
nice project, good work!
There are two springs in the rear shocks?
These handlebars look not that tough for your wrists. They seem to come a good part back to the rider.

That's exactly what I would have recommended.Jcc1 wrote: New Master Cylinder Stainless lines ( Single Line Coming Soon)

Yeah, Volker, the rear shock look to be the same ones that I have on my '79. Taller than stock but also quite a bit stiffer. They soften a bit after a while, though.
Re: 650 Project - New Member
Just curious about that brake lever/master cylinder setup, is that a whole new lever? I have a 82 ' 650 and have been struggling finding a decent lever that works well with the stock caliper.

Did you shave the stock seat and recover? Is there much padding for the passenger? The shape of the seat looks great but I have to haul my gal too and she loves the stock seat for comfort. I don't like the way it looks though. Thanks
