What can you say...besides WOW!!
Nice workmanship. How much did you have to mod the frame to get that thing to fit?
It's really cool. I'm impressed.

Welcome here!
Great job! Really looks like everything should be like that. How much weight?
Looks like you still have the stock fork and rear shocks. I could imagine riding around a corner with a bump might cause some trouble?
From the other thread, I was still more impressed that this is not just a technical toy but really made to seriously ride it.

Re: My Converted CB650C to a CB954TD
Thank you for the complements. The bike is very reliable, and with a full tank of fuel, weighs in at 525lbs, I weigh 250-260 (Hence the solo seat), runs 70mph all day, very easy to build, and the bike sucks up a crowd everywhere I go. Stock suspension works ok being almost 30 years old. Front air forks need to be rebuilt, but the chassis on these 650s are wonderfull and seem to be built bullet proof and inexpencive to buy.
Thank you for having me here, I also joined as I've just bought a 1980 CB650C seen in the backround for another Diesel conversion, so I thought this might be the right place to advertise the parts I won't need, and advice on non-engine related parts.
The bike was put together in a storage unit and took just three weeks from start (Sept 13, 2006) to registration as a Diesel fueled Honda (Sept 29, 2006) and total milage from Sept 29th 2006 till now 23,442.

Impressing. In Germany I guess it would take at least one year fighting with bureaucracy to get it (maybe) registered. Not to mention that the cost of this paperwork will exceed the project budget itself. That's one main reason I never tried or will try such things.
