Just purchased my first CB650c, I am having a hard time finding parts a reasonable price. As you can see from the pictures the previous owner cut off the original exhaust and put on Harley tips. (Not sure what he was thinking), but they need to go. It’s also missing the center stand; he removed that to install the tips. lol.
What parts are interchangeable via 79 to 82? Can I buy exhaust from a 1982 CB650?
I am just looking for additional options regarding parts.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Rob

Wow, I like those pipes. Where are you at? I'd be willing to trade you the 4-2 pipes on my 650 now for those. You could email me at bcasebier@gmail.com
It's all about the last inch baby, especially when it's metric
Re: First CB650c (1980)
Most items (not all) will interchange from 80 to 82 except 82 nitehawk body parts. The 79 is mostly diff except the engine. This is all US models.
I have a centerstand and a 4-4 exhaust that would need polishing but no holes in them. Also the chrome airbox covers your is missing. Send me a PM on any of it if interested. Where you at?

Did you clean the tank out?!?!?!?!

Welcome here!
Looks fine. Interesting (vaulted) headlight, is this a sealed beam type or something completely different?
And don't fill the tank to the brim until you have a center stand.
