my new bobber

Postby jcasey007 » Thu Apr 11, 2013 4:48 am

Hi All from the UK

this is my first bobber, love it

it is based on an 1981 CB650z. I bought the original bike on ebay for £300, did not run, carbs pissed fuel, and to be honest it was a bodge. the frame mods were good though. So I've done a full strip and rebuild (everything has come from ebay :) )

here's a before picture in January

here's a couple of pictures now, the exhaust is a cherry bomb, sounds excellent :D

I had to google Steam Punk and I see what you mean :D

I guess I had better dress accordingly when I'm riding

cheers

The new seat looks WAY more comfortable. Nice!

Hi,
I really like the way your new bobber turned out, i have a question or more then 1 , what kind of airfilter do you use, i mean that there is only 2.5 inch between the carb and the frame, so what kind of size did you use?
Also did you have to rejet because of the exhaust and airfilter pods?

Thanks
