Hi guys,
This is my first post of my project. I am very new to motorcycles and probably a bit over my head, but I have had a blast with this project.
I welcome questions and feedback.

Picked up this "complete" bike for $400.00. No exhaust or carbs.
Day one.
Starting the framework. I cut all unnecessary tabs and the center kickstand to clean the frame up.

I decided to keep the comstar rims. I sandblasted them, to save a few bucks before having them powder coated. Was not worth it at all. I took me over 8 hours to do, three bags of sand and only saved me $40.00.
I had to pay a mechanic to remove the bearings. Cost $40.00, but I was able to reuse the bearings and seals.

As I said before..... My first attempt at a rear shock mounting point. It obviously did not go so well.

I decided to cut off and extend the loop and cut out the mounting points.
I had two brackets made so I could have the lift I didn't get from the original mounting points.

The tank had holes in it from rust. Get it repaired or purchase a new tank that I actually liked.......

Tail light and battery are installed. Tail light mounts to the battery box under the hump.
