Thanks Terry!

I have made a few more changes. I had a set of blinkers from a CX500 on a shelf, and I have adapted two of them and used them as rear blinkers. They are a bit larger than I would have liked them to be, but at least they are visable. :)
I also took off the rack for the Krauser panniers, but I have made it simple to put back in. All I need to doo is loosen three bolts on each side, and plug in the blinkers that is mounted on the racks. It's a 10 minute job.
This is how the bike looks without the panniers and the racks:

Those rears look like the signals on the 80/82 650s here. Fronts look like the standard 70's honda style.

Looks great. I have to admit I was a bit nervous for you when I saw the first few pics with the new faring, but now I really like it. Those silver wheels... you painted the comstars? I never noticed those from your pics in the old 650 forum. I kinda like 'em in silver.

The european RC03 Z-models came with this silver comstars. Note that not only the colour but also the "spokes" profile is different. The rear wheel is 18", I once had a set but did not check out whether it would fit in a RC05. I think front tyre width is (slightly) different, so the front rim width might be too. Also front brake disks are smaller, I do not remember if mountings are identical.

Yeah, now that you mention it the spokes look like they're inside out and the discs are smaller. Still look good in silver though

Since the fairing wasn't made for this model, I had my doubts too when I started to fit it on the bike. And that's why I took the pictures from the start to be able to sit back and see how it looked and then make the adjustments.

This is how the bike looks now at a distance:

fishtoft, do you mean the those on the rear end of the mudguard? If so, they are there for a splash guard these bikes originally came with. I think most owners took them off, but in Sweden where my bike came from, the splash guard was compulsory

FYI The comstars like on Ibsens bike first came out in 76 or 77. The black ones are acually called the reverse.
