Carburetor Question CB 650 RC08

Hello from Franconia, Germany! :D

I have a question concerning the carbs for my CB 650 RC08 from 1982.
Originally the bike runs with the Keihin VB 54 carbs.
Is there any chance to install any other type of carb on this CB 650?

The VB44 carbs of all 81-on CB650 SOHC models should fit. 82-on models have the screwed idle jets.

BTW, most (=US) people here know the RC08 as the 1982 Nighthawk. Sometimes it is also called the 1982 CB650SC. :wink:

Yes I am talking about the CB650 SC .
The VB44s are also very difficult to find.
I thought about the VE54 but those carbs belong to the CBX 650.
Got no specification for it...
So I will continue searching.
